About Us

DuPont is a world leading science-based products and services company operating in more than 70 countries globally.  Founded in 1802, we put science to work by creating sustainable solutions essential to a better, safer, healthier life for people everywhere

The Sub-Saharan subsidiary of DuPont was established more than 50 years ago, primarily to serve the needs of South Africa’s ever-growing agriculture industry. Over the years, we have grown at a steady rate and have expanded our focus significantly. Today, we operate across the food, agriculture and nutrition industries, as well as the mining, building, construction, automotive, energy, safety, protection, packaging and printing industries, to name but a few. We also have sales capability in 35 countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, which enables us to reach key economies in the region.

Career Opportunities

DuPont has sales, marketing, business development and engineering opportunities available in all twenty of its business areas, which stretch across most of Sub-Saharan Africa’s key industries (to name some few, Angola, Nigeria, Tanzania, Cameroon, Kenya, Ivory Coast, Ethiopian and Zimbabwe).  Applicants should hold a degree in science, engineering or business administration. They should have a good command of the English language, leadership skills and personal growth aspirations.
