About Congo
With its significant endowment of oil, minerals, natural forests, arable land, a biodiversity of global importance and a strategic location in Central Africa with a deep-sea port at Pointe-Noire that can serve as a gateway to the sub-region, Congo has the potential for building a strong and robust economy. Despite the world crisis, the economy grew strongly, driven mainly by oil production and the construction sector.
This growth is expected to continue, largely driven by oil production but non-oil growth has been increasing as well. Demand for Congolese nationals is therefore very strong and career opportunities abound.
