About Sudan
Sudan is the third largest oil producer in sub-Saharan Africa after Nigeria and Angola. Oil and agriculture are the main drivers of growth and employment. Negotiations around the transition and exit of the South are top of the agenda for the Sudan.
This marks yet another chapter in the continuum of its rich history extending from antiquity to present day.
