South Quay DLR Station is the closest station to the hotel.

Canary Wharf Station (Jubilee Line) is approx a 5 minute walk from the hotel.  Exit Canary Wharf Station via the large escalators entering Reuters Plaza.  Turn left and proceed directly through the small glass square building (Jubilee Place, next to the Lehman Brothers building) and out the other side. Continue over the bridge and turn left. The hotel is 50 metres down the road on the right hand side.

Please plan your journey carefully as it is critical that you are on time.  All interviews and presentations will start promptly and latecomers will not be admitted entry.

Important Information

Registration

On registering at the Summit, you will receive your badge and programme. Please note that your  badge is your entry pass and should be worn AT ALL TIMES throughout the event.
No replacements will be issued for misplaced name badges.

Should you be unable to register on Friday, please ensure you do so before 9am on Saturday.

Networking Reception

We strongly advise that you attend the official opening of the Summit and the Networking Reception on Friday 18th May at 17:30.

During the Networking Reception you will have the chance to meet with senior delegates from all the companies before your interviews. It will also provide you with an invaluable opportunity to secure additional ‘On-the-Spot Interviews’.

‘On-the-Spot’ Interviews

In addition to your pre-scheduled interviews, you will have the opportunity to secure additional ‘On-the-Spot’ interviews.

Companies may organise these with you directly. Please notify a member of staff from GCC.

Please ensure that your mobile phone is switched on throughout the event as we will use this to contact you regarding additional interviews. (Please ensure you leave it SILENT during any presentations or interviews)

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I need to attend all 3 days of the Summit?

We advise you to attend for the full duration of the event.
Following registration on Friday, the Networking Reception will give you the opportunity to meet with the senior delegates from attending companies before your interviews.
If you cannot attend on Friday, you must register on Saturday morning between 08:00 and 09:00.

Will my travel and accommodation expenses be covered?

The Summit is free of charge for invited candidates to attend, however, all expenses incurred must be covered by yourself.

What kind of interview can I expect? / Will I have to do an assessment test?

Interviews will last between 30 minutes to 1 hour. 

Details of any additional assessments or test will be confirmed with you closer to the event.

To maximise your chances of success, please ensure you have thoroughly researched the company/ies with whom you are interviewing. You will be meeting with Senior delegates from each company and the interviews will be conducted at a high level so preparation is essential.

What do I need to bring?

  • Confirmation Email and Printed Schedule – This is your ‘entry ticket’ for the Summit
  • Mobile Phone – we will use this to contact you with any additional interview opportunities
  • Copies of your CV
  • Pen and Notebook

When will I receive feedback on the outcome of my interview?

This will vary from company to company, and it is something that you should discuss with your interviewer. Some companies may give an offer at the end of the summit, however, for more experienced positions the process may take longer. Please take contact details of interviewer so that you can follow up at a later date.

Visa Information

If you do need to apply for a visa, we very strongly advise that you begin the application process immediately

In most European Countries, the British Embassy/High Commission has implemented a new visa application procedure whereby arrangements now need to be made through their commercial partner, WorldBridge Services – www.visainfoservices.com.

The changeover has resulted in slightly longer processing times and it is therefore vital that you allow sufficient time to fully complete the application.

We are happy to provide you with an official invitation letter to take to the British Embassy to assist with your application.  Please email janice.yeh@globalcc.net – Subject: Visa Letter URGENT with the following information as soon as possible:
