Brewery Manager

Job Description

Accountabilities: 

  • Give input to 3 year supply chain plan in line with the developed production strategy
  • Define an operational production plan, including one-year objectives and gap to fill, in line with the local and/or regional objectives and Heineken Manufacturing Star
  • Manage, coordinate and continuous improve all different brewing and packaging-related activities within the brewery in line with applicable quality procedures, TPM and TCO, to assure correct operation and swift resolution of problems that are (in)directly related to the brewing and packaging process
  • Ensure the execution of quality, and technological controls, including e.g. internal and external audits, in line with relevant procedures and regulations, and manage the implementation of forthcoming corrective actions
  • Ensure that corrective maintenance is executed as quickly as possible and in line with applicable quality procedures, TPM and TCO, and that preventative maintenance is executed on a regular basis.
  • Ensure the definition of a SHE plan and accompanying objectives, in line with applicable internal and external procedures and regulations, and the implementation and realisation hereof
  • Propose and/or evaluate investment plans within the own area of responsibility, against the background of the local and/or regional Supply Chain plan
  • Provide insight in quantitative and qualitative performance regarding the own brewery, including market developments
  • Lead projects that impact the whole dedicated production organization and contribute to projects that go beyond the dedicated production organisation
  • Lead the department and manage a team of people including recruitment performance management and (career)development

Knowledge and Experience

  • Master Degree
  • 8 – 12 years relevant experience with initial (2-3 years) management experience
  • Solid functional experience in production
  • Experience in projects
  • Good in English and French
