Demand Planning Manager

Job Description

Key job accountabilities

To ensure efficient operation of the business unit Demand and Supply cycles, aiming for the best quality service

at the lowest global cost.

• Ensure efficient operation of the business unit forecast planning process

• Participate in defining the sub-contracting strategy of the business unit

• Ensure coordination of demand planning activities and coordinate business unit flows

• Advise, decide and support the reasoning of his team in outgoing communication

• Ensure objectives are met, develop and track improvement action plans

• Validate and check the team follows the correct procedures

• Ensure the “On the job” development of his team

• Participate in international DGO Supply Chain projects

• Recruit, develop and manage team (typically between 2 and 15 staff). Ensure transfer of know-how and

expertise and implement organisational changes

Technical & Professional competencies required

• Supply chain management, with key focus on flows and stock management

• Supply chain controlling

• Customer relations & expectations
