Equipment Manager (based in Uganda)

Due to our business continued growth within the African continent, and the most recent bid we won in Uganda, we are looking for an experienced an Equipment Manager for one of our African subsidiaries. You will be responsible for:

– Supervising  and assuring the provision of high-quality equipment, guaranteeing the equipment cost and the availability

– Managing the workshop managers on repairs matters and maintenance operation

– Assuring the equipment fleet level quality

– Forecasting all workshop needs, and engines service life

– Developing and managing a budget, realizing and following-up scoreboards and statistics

– Auditing the service accounting data

– Assisting meetings about Equipment rental rate fixation

– Purchasing equipment

– Managing teams

– Application of the company general policies (Quality, Safety, Human Resources topics) 

Profil:

– Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering

– At least a 5-years’ experience in a similar position

– Relevant experience in managing workshops (mechanical and maintenance competencies)

– Strong accounting and management skills

– organizational capacities, disciplined-mind and methodological approach

– Excellent communication Skills

– Fluency in spoken and writing English is compulsory
