Role Description:

A new role, based in Lagos. Will report to the APM Terminals Nigeria Country Manager.

Overall objective

Driven by creating value through communication and community involvement

Mission

Create and implement a communication plan (external to start with) and platform for APM terminals in Nigeria

Improve the brand name of AMP terminals in Nigeria amongst external stakeholders (government, partners, community, future and current employees)

Manage CSR activities that fit to APM Terminals business

Implement a sustainability approach and strategy

Person Specifications:

Qualifications Skills & Experience 

Nigerian national
University Degree
Previous experience from external communications in an international company
Previous experience of CSR/sustainability work
Very strong communicator (can transfer messages to different audiences)
Self-driven, hands on and persistent Diplomatic and collaborative
