We are currently working with a multinational company in the Energy sector recruiting a HR Manager for their operations in Benin. This professionals will be responsible for working closely with GM and managers advising, assisting and challenging all areas of HR, in order to meet overall business targets and resources requirements.
Report to: General Manager
Direct report: 1 HR Assistant
Headcount: 60-70 employees (company operation in expansion)
This is a HR generalist opportunity, main responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and ensure that necessary resources are available according to business needs
- Ensure the efficient and effective execution of main corporate HR processes
- Ensuring that correct policies, routines, procedures, and rules are being followed as stated under the terms and conditions of employment and within the Benin law
- Establishing and facilitating processes and tools for people and leadership strategic planning and recruitment, performance and short and long term development
- Deployment and human resource retention strategies, reward systems
- Deliver personnel administration
- Establish and execute annual HR budget
- Promote the development of company organisational culture (and other company tools for people and working environment and follow-up the execution)
- Develop HR policies and systems based on company’s international HR policy and Mozambican labour law compliance
- Ensure that the company complies with all laws and regulations regarding working conditions and work force requirements
Requirements
- Benin national
- Degree or equivalent in the field of human resources, business administration, law
- Relevant experience at management level
- Good communication- and relationship skills at all levels
- Proven Proficiency in English and French
- Business understanding and involvement
- Strong Leaderships skills
- Analytical and structured, hands on
- Dynamic, self-motivated and independent and proactive
- Customer and results oriented
- Be able to perform and succeed under pressure
