Description du poste :
Total Gabon recherche, pour ses activités opérationnelles, des ingénieurs géophysiciens gabonais. Vôtre rôle sera d’accomplir des travaux d’interprétation géophysique 2D/3D pour l’évaluation optimale des gisements ainsi que du domaine d’exploration de la filiale.
Dans le cadre d’un travail en équipe, vous serez en charge de:
• L’interprétation géophysique générale sur station de travail
• La présentation des résultats aux partenaires et en interne
• Des études (théorie et pratique) en caractérisation sismique des réservoirs

Formation et connaissances:
• Grandes écoles d’ingénieur (Bac+5) avec ou sans formations complémentaires (IFP School, Imperial Collège, Texas….)
• Bonnes connaissances en géologie pétrolière et techniques de gisement, calage sismique et cartographie
• Connaissance des logiciels métiers
• Anglais courant et maîtrise de l’informatique.
Niveau d’expérience attendu:
• Une première expérience dans l’univers pétrolier (interprétation géophysique de gisement et d’exploration) serait appréciée.

Total Gabon is the leading producer of oil in Gabon and the country’s oil development partner for more than 80 years. GEOPHYSIST ENGINEER (LOCAL CONTRACT)

His role will be to:
• Perform geophysical interpretation
• Follow geophysical studies performed by or for the subsidiary.
• Participate in prospects evaluation
• Well preparation and follow-up during drilling operations
• Communicate with Geosciences, other departments and external entities (HQ, partners, government authorities)

Skills :
• Training and knowledge
• Minimum = MSc in Geophysic or equivalent, IFP School
• Knowledge of different parts of geophysics (acquisition, processing and interpretation) and good knowledge of geology.
Expected level of experience :
• A first experience in oil industry would be appreciated
• Minimum of 7 years experience, familiar with exploration and reservoir geophysics (for senior)
