Purpose/Misson
Coordinates the review of Partner’s Geophysical Work Program;
leads the geophysical programs in field appraisals development and production operations for assigned blocks/licenses.
Roles & Responsibilities
Liaise with Partners to organize and prepare partner meetings and Joint Management Committees
Lead geophysical interpretation of assigned projects to help identification of commercial prospect areas in Ghana
Lead Geophysical analysis of assigned blocks/licenses to support the exploration, appraisal, development & production of Hydrocarbons
Track performance and manage costs of assigned Budget items
Supervise Senior Geophysicist to ensure quality and timely delivery of their assignments
Qualification Required
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Geophysics, Physics, Geology with Physics or Earth Science is required
- Masters’ Degree in Exploration Geophysics, Geophysics or Geosciences preferred
Experience
- 8-10 years of working experience in Geophysics
- Management experience of exploration teams
- Membership of a relevant professional body is an advantage
