As the Production Planning Officer you will report to the Manager, Production Planning and Control.
Job Purpose:
The Production Planning Officer will be responsible for all production planning, customer orders execution and expedition activities. You will ensure efficient production of the right quality and quantity of goods to meet customer demand as per FIFO planning. You will also coordinate and expedite the flow of information, work materials within or between departments of the organisation according to production shipment schedules and capacity levelling.
Other Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Planning and execution of customer order
- Scheduling of production order execution
- Verification of production Costing &Technical completion of production orders
- Raw materials & Product Inventory Management
The Successful Applicant must Possess the Following:
- A relevant qualification in Engineering
- A minimum of 2 – 4 years commercial experience in process engineering or production planning
- Strong attention to detail with ability to multi-task
