Africa Improved Foods (AIF) Rwanda Ltd is looking for a self-results-driven and enthusiastic self-starter Sales Manager to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
Key Areas of Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Implement a sales & distribution plan for AIF products
- Drive and grow Sales volumes as per the Sales plan of all AIF product ranges
- Build new client relationships
- Negotiate sales contracts
- Develop and present effective proposals to all stakeholders
- Attend local trade shows & exhibitions – working with the Marketing team on new product launches and variety of other market communications initiatives
- Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts
- Present, promote and sell AIF products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
The Successful Applicant Must Meet the Following Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing or any relevant field
- Discipline related knowledge and experience
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales, Commercial Channel Management in FMCG sector
- Proven experience in Sales, Commercial Planning, Commercial Operations
- Experience in successfully developing and rolling out sales and distribution plans
- Proven work experience
- Build a productive business professional relationships

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
