As an Executive Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will play a vital role in bolstering their executive and specialist talent acquisition strategy. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough research, engaging with networks to identify top-tier talent, and providing comprehensive administrative support to facilitate seamless recruitment processes. You will collaborate closely with the Executive Talent Acquisition Manager, and your contributions will be instrumental in driving growth and success for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Research & Sourcing:

  • Support in developing job descriptions based on market mapping insights and knowledge.
    Conduct in-depth research on potential candidates for executive roles using a variety of sources (industry publications, professional networks, social media platforms, etc.).
  • Develop comprehensive candidate profiles, highlighting relevant skills, experience, and career achievements.
  • Build, maintain, and update databases of potential candidates across our organisation.
  • Collaborate with the CoE and People Function to integrate internal talent and succession plans into external searches.

Interview Management:

  • Manage the initial stages of the interview process, including scheduling interviews, sending interview materials, and coordinating logistics.

Market Research & Reporting:

  • Compile and analyse market data and industry trends related to executive compensation and talent acquisition.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarising research findings and candidate recommendations.

Administrative Support:

  • Assist the Executive Recruitment Lead with administrative tasks as needed (e.g., scheduling meetings, coordinating reports, and data sources).
  • Provide project management support for each assigned search.

Personal Specification

Technical Skills

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration or Psychology.
  • Advanced research skills with the ability to utilize a variety of online and offline resources.
  • Proficiency in advanced search techniques.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel) is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the Smart Recruiters Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is advantageous.
  • Process mapping skills or the ability to think logically and translate this into requirements would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of social media and the ability to optimise channels as requested.

Experience:

  • Prior demonstrable experience in the recruitment search industry, ideally within a Mining environment.
  • Experience working in a fast-moving, demanding environment.
