Head of Audit & Internal Control – Oil & Gas Downstream

Job Requirements

Qualification

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or a Business discipline (Minimum of Second Class Lower)
• Professional accounting certification

Experience

• Experience working with internal control design an operation within IT and Finance
• Experience with external audits at a big 4 firm with clients that are large publicly traded companies.
• Minimum 8 years of experience. Prefer experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas related environment.
• Understanding of and experience with statutory reporting requirements
• Excellent English verbal and written communications skills
• Advanced MS Excel working knowledge
• ERP experience preferred
• Ability to take initiative and work on tasks independently or as part of a team
• Minimum 8-year college degree/Diploma (Accounting and/or finance degree required), CA /ACCA /CPA /CIMA /CMA completed.
