As Planning Coordinator within the Smart Operating Centre (SOC), you will support the Planning Manager in ensuring operational plans remain coherent, achievable, and governed across Fuel, Preventive Maintenance (PM), and Site Works (SWO) activities. You will play a key role in coordinating, validating, and dynamically adjusting plans within the Workforce Management (WFM) platform to reflect real site conditions, resource constraints, and operational risks.
Role Responsibilities:
Develop and validate fuel and preventive maintenance (PM) plans within WFM, ensuring alignment with SWO requirements, resource availability, tank measurements, and sequencing logic.
Monitor operational risks (grid instability, autonomy issues, recurring alarms) and adjust plans to prevent service disruptions and SLA exposure.
Maintain accurate site configurations and application codes to ensure planning systems reflect real site conditions.
Coordinate planning activities with the Energy Desk, SOC, Maintenance Managers, and Maintenance Partners to ensure operational feasibility.
Enforce WFM planning standards, including correct task types, dependencies, bundling rules, and data accuracy.
Support automation and continuous improvement by refining planning rules, templates, and scheduling processes.
Track planning performance, deviations, and re-planning drivers, providing insights in operational governance forums to support corrective actions.
Ideal Profile:
African national currently based in Paris or greater Île-de-France
Willing to relocate to Africa
Experience in high-growth, multi-country environments preferred
At least 3 years experience in operational planning, maintenance coordination, or SOC/NOC environments within telecom or infrastructure sectors.
Solid understanding of Fuel, PM, and Site Work Order (SWO) operational processes.
Analytical capability to interpret risk signals and operational patterns.
Experience working in SLA-driven environments.
