Business and Strategic Risk Manager

Job Description

JOB PURPOSE (S)

&#149  Responsible for  deep risk management, strategy and performance expertise. This position will provide Executive Management with an enterprise-wide, holistic view of our business and strategy risk

&#149  Responsible to conduct research, communicate with stakeholders, conduct studies and perform strategic analysis, recommending innovative solutions to management.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

&#149  Develop Risk strategy and prepare Risk appetite paper(s) as applicable.

&#149  Prepare and review risk procedures and policies.

&#149  Drive the implementation of Risk Management Plan

&#149  Assist in the evaluation of the groups Strategic Risks including country risks, expansion strategy assessment etc. This requires detailed review of the Organization’s Strategic and Operational Plans, including development of contingencies to mitigate risks. These plans and contingencies often include significant considerations of resourcing models and possible service adjustments;

&#149  Aggregate strategic risks and coordinate mitigation activities

&#149  Initiate activities to formulate or revise strategies to anticipate or respond to emerging business risks; 

&#149  Develop Risk strategy and prepare Risk appetite paper(s) as applicable.

&#149  Prepare and review risk procedures and policies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

&#149  Minimum Education: First Degree preferably in a Finance or an engineering/numerate related discipline; higher degrees /MBA/professional certifications compulsory
