Job Description

PRINCIPAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 Assist Project manager / Supervisor in day to day operational activities.

Ensure Timely, Accurate and on target deliveries of purchased materials and equipment to job site to meet or improve project schedule.

Visits manufacturing sites to monitor and evaluate progress on engineering, materials acquisition and manufacturing progress through visual observation and sub-order review.

For fabricated equipment, receives the vendor’s progress chart and follows for timeliness and accuracy.  With the vendor, identifies buy out items, schedules them, ensures sub-orders are placed as scheduled, and that sub-suppliers are being properly expedited.

Expedites engineering and data submittals for purchased materials and equipment.

Coordinates with third party companies on source inspection requirements.

Reports supplier progress status information enabling the project to update project schedule.

Liaise and coordinate with Project Logistics Specialist and/or logistics service provider when the goods are forecasted to be ready for shipment ensuring all technical requirements for the delivery are addressed.

Strive to achieve cost saving measures through pro-active vigilance to Purchase Order terms and conditions.

 

General


Assist with any other duties as and when required.

Undertake specific projects as instructed by management.

Safety

Align the applicable aspects of Quality Management and HSE Management Systems.


 Other

Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.

Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.

QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING:

 High School diploma or HNC

Good command of English language (E)

 

EXPERIENCE:

WORK

In depth training will be provided to selected candidate. (Essential)

SOFTWARE

PC Literate (Essential)
