Key Purpose: 

To ensure that the company gains market share and the strategic objectives of the Board is executed. This need to be executed on a planned basis in line with company strategy.

Key Responsibilities

To develop an overall Sales, Retail, Product and Marketing strategy for the Affiliate

To put strategies in place that will ensure that the Affiliate meets its EPIC and business  targets

Identify specific opportunities for the Affiliate, to make contact and negotiate for business.

To ensure product availability within the Affiliate at all times (liase with supply & optimization to set up consistent supply chain).

To build business relationships with decision makers within country to ensure that the Engen brand grows in line with the strategic objectives of the Board

To liaise with Government bodies to gain cooperation and fast track the legitimate implementation strategies

Ensure liaison between various departments within IBD for support required into the Affiliate

To manage the human resources element within the country

Analyze business problems and identify initiatives to address non performance or optimization of business products within the Affiliate

To report on stakeholders interventions and outcomes

Specific Outcomes:

Contact with Govt. bodies and decision makers

Proactive liaison with service providers rendering business with the Affiliates

Manage cross functional initiatives with all the departments within the company

Budget managed

Policy formulation for affiliate in line with the legislative framework within the country

Operating Standards & Procedures should be implemented

Compliance to legislative frameworks and company procedures

Human resource management

Experience and Qualifications: 

5 to 8 years Management experience is essential.

10 to 15 years relevant experience is essential

Any 3 year professional qualification is essential.

Petroleum experience will be advantageous.

Commercial/Retail experience will be an advantage.
