Job Description

Key Responsibilities 

  • To develop an overall Sales, Retail, Product and Marketing strategy for the Affiliate
  • To put strategies in place that will ensure that the Affiliate meets its EPIC and business  targets
  • Identify specific opportunities for the Affiliate, to make contact and negotiate for business.
  • To ensure product availability within the Affiliate at all times (liase with supply & optimization to set up consistent supply chain).
  • To build business relationships with decision makers within country to ensure that the Engen brand grows in line with the strategic objectives of the Board
  • To liaise with Government bodies to gain cooperation and fast track the legitimate implementation strategies
  • Ensure liaison between various departments within IBD for support required into the Affiliate
  • To manage the human resources element within the country
  • Analyse business problems and identify initiatives to address non performance or optimization of business products within the Affiliate
  • To report on stakeholders interventions and outcomes

Specific Outcomes 

  • Contact with Govt. bodies and decision makers
  • Proactive liaison with service providers rendering business with the Affiliates
  • Manage cross functional initiatives with all the departments within the company
  • Budget managed
  • Policy formulation for affiliate in line with the legislative framework within the country
  • Operating Standards & Procedures should be implemented
  • Compliance to legislative frameworks and company procedures
  • Human resource management

Experience and Qualifications 

  • 5 to 8 years Management experience is essential.
  • 10 to 15 years relevant experience is essential
  • Any 3 year professional qualification is essential.
  • Petroleum experience will be advantageous.
  • Commercial/Retail experience will be an advantage.
