Key Responsibilities
- To develop an overall Sales, Retail, Product and Marketing strategy for the Affiliate
- To put strategies in place that will ensure that the Affiliate meets its EPIC and business targets
- Identify specific opportunities for the Affiliate, to make contact and negotiate for business.
- To ensure product availability within the Affiliate at all times (liase with supply & optimization to set up consistent supply chain).
- To build business relationships with decision makers within country to ensure that the Engen brand grows in line with the strategic objectives of the Board
- To liaise with Government bodies to gain cooperation and fast track the legitimate implementation strategies
- Ensure liaison between various departments within IBD for support required into the Affiliate
- To manage the human resources element within the country
- Analyse business problems and identify initiatives to address non performance or optimization of business products within the Affiliate
- To report on stakeholders interventions and outcomes
Specific Outcomes
- Contact with Govt. bodies and decision makers
- Proactive liaison with service providers rendering business with the Affiliates
- Manage cross functional initiatives with all the departments within the company
- Budget managed
- Policy formulation for affiliate in line with the legislative framework within the country
- Operating Standards & Procedures should be implemented
- Compliance to legislative frameworks and company procedures
- Human resource management
Experience and Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years Management experience is essential.
- 10 to 15 years relevant experience is essential
- Any 3 year professional qualification is essential.
- Petroleum experience will be advantageous.
- Commercial/Retail experience will be an advantage.
