OUR MISSION & VISION
Helios Towers is a market-leading independent telecom tower infrastructure company and are market leaders in Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo, Congo Brazzaville, and Senegal. We are a leading operator in Ghana with a strong urban portfolio and established a presence in South Africa in 2019. Our principal business lies in building, acquiring and operating telecommunications towers that are capable of accommodating and powering the needs of multiple tenants. These tenants are typically large MNOs and other telecommunications providers who in turn provide wireless voice and data services, primarily to end-consumers and businesses. Today our infrastructure covers more than 200 million people - and that footprint is growing fast.

Tom Greenwood
GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Tom Greenwood joined Helios Towers in 2010, during the Company’s formation, and was appointed Group CEO in April 2022. He has held numerous positions since joining, including two prior executive positions (Group Chief Operating Officer and Group Chief Financial Officer). Tom has overseen many of the Company’s key milestones, including all 15 major merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions, the inaugural 2017 bond and 2019 Initial Public Offering (IPO) listing, as well as delivering record operational performance for customers. Since 2020, under Tom’s leadership the Company has doubled its tower portfolio.
