To foster and promote a conducive pro-business financial environment in Rwanda.

Kigali International Financial Centre (KIFC) is a national flagship initiative created to transform Rwanda into an international financial destination. It includes Rwanda's financial ecosystem and investors looking to set up in Rwanda to invest across the African continent. KIFC advocates for the highest regulatory standards, industry best practices, and the most attractive products and services to suit the needs of global investors and financial institutions. Rwanda aims primarily to serve as a fund domicile and jurisdiction where local, regional, and international investors can consolidate their investments/assets.

John Mugabo
Capacity building & Program Manager

John Mugabo is the Capacity Building Program Manager at the Kigali International Finance Centre (KIFC), where he supports initiatives aimed at strengthening human capital within Rwanda’s financial sector and advancing the country’s ambition to become a leading financial hub for investment into Africa. With over 10 years of experience in project management, capacity building, and business development, John has led the implementation of multi-sector projects in education, gender advocacy, and SME development, ensuring alignment with national priorities and international standards.

Anita Mutesi
Chief Strategy Officer

Anita Mutesi is the Chief Strategy Officer at the Kigali International Finance Centre (KIFC), where she leads strategic planning, partnerships, and capacity development initiatives aimed at positioning Rwanda as a competitive international financial hub for investment into Africa. In this role, she oversees the design and execution of strategies that strengthen human capital in the financial sector, expand international partnerships, and support the development of a world-class financial ecosystem aligned with global standards.
