Who We Are Looking For
Successful candidates should demonstrate:
African or Caribbean nationality and a strong interest in contributing to Africa and the Caribbean’s trade, industrialisation and economic development.
Typically 5–15 years’ relevant experience, with strong technical capability, leadership potential and commercial orientation.
Willingness to relocate to one of Afreximbank’s locations across Africa or the Caribbean, depending on future career opportunities.
Relevant academic qualifications in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, International Trade, Technology, Engineering or related disciplines.
Strong professional experience within banking, development finance, investment, industry, technology, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, infrastructure or commercial development.
Experience mobilising capital, building partnerships, developing value chains, scaling businesses or operating across markets would be particularly relevant.
International, emerging-market, African or Caribbean market experience would be advantageous.
Fluency in English is required. Additional proficiency in French, Portuguese or Arabic is highly desirable.
