About the Role
The Network & Energy Performance Engineering Lead is responsible for ensuring that the DRC network is
observable, diagnosable, and technically understood, and that site energy systems are correctly designed, configured, and maintainable. The role combines network performance visibility, structured root-cause engineering, and energy system integrity to reduce repeat incidents, prevent systemic degradation, and enable sustainable improvements in reliability and energy performance.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and improve network and energy performance metrics
Drive energy optimisation initiatives (diesel reduction, hybrid solutions, renewables)
Analyse data and implement performance improvements
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams
Key Requirements
Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Telecom Engineering
8–12+ years experience in telecom energy or network performance
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
Experience with energy systems (generators, batteries, solar)
