About the Role
Aker Solutions is seeking a Piping Designer to support the design and delivery of piping systems across offshore and energy projects. This role focuses on 3D modelling, piping layout and multidisciplinary coordination, ensuring high-quality engineering outputs across all project phases — from concept through to execution. You will work closely with engineering teams and clients to deliver efficient, compliant and technically robust solutions.
The role can be calibrated depending on candidate seniority:
- Junior level: Focus on drafting support and development
- Mid-level: Full ownership of design deliverables and project execution
The position will contribute to safe, compliant, and practical design solutions, working across multidisciplinary teams.

3D modelling (E3D / PDMS)
Ability to work independently across full project lifecycle
Education
Diploma / HND / Bachelor’s degree in:
Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Relevant experience may compensate for formal education
