 Description du poste :

Total Gabon recherche, pour ses activités opérationnelles, de jeunes diplômés gabonais de formation technique pour des fonctions d’ingénieur réservoir.

Vos mission principales seront de :

&#149  Valoriser au mieux les réserves d’hydrocarbures en estimant les profils de production, avec l’apport de la géologie et de la géophysique de gisement, pour la caractérisation des réservoirs, de l’architecture pétrolière pour le schéma de développement, de la construction et de la productivité puits, cela dans toutes les phases de la vie d’un gisement (appréciation ; développement et production)

&#149  Piloter sous l’aspect réservoir les opérations de développement et d’exploitation des gisements pour les adapter à la réalité géologique

&#149  Participer à l’évaluation des réserves de l’Entreprise principalement pour les décisions internes

&#149  Garantir techniquement le choix des procédés de récupération envisagés et la description la plus fiable possible des réservoirs

&#149  Assurer l’adéquation des personnels aux études de synthèses

&#149  Contribuer à la rentabilité des investissements Exploration et Production, par une recherche permanente d’amélioration du facteur de récupération et l’accélération des productions, dans le cadre des normes économiques du groupe

 Formation et connaissances:

&#149  Ingénieur grandes écoles, IFP School ou équivalent

&#149  Connaissances en simulation de réservoir, management de réservoir, géologie de gisement productivité puits, acquisition/interprétation quantitative des logs, pétrophysique, opérations et incertitudes

&#149  Anglais courant et maîtrise de l’informatique.

Niveau d’expérience attendu:

&#149  Une première expérience dans l’univers pétrolier serait appréciée.

Total Gabon is the leading producer of oil in Gabon and the country’s oil development partner for more than 80 years. Since 2010, Total Gabon proceeds to the redevelopment of its mature fields and the renewal of its offshore facilities, which will allow it to maintain a production plate around 60 000 bbl/d. In addition, at the start of the year Total Gabon began its first deep offshore drilling campaign in Gabonese waters on Diaba block.

Total Gabon is seeking for Gabonese young graduate or experimented talents to join its geoscience department, to work as reservoir engineer. The job position is located in port-Gentil.

RESEVOIR ENGINEER (LOCAL CONTRACT)

Remuneration: According to profile and experience

 His role will be to:

&#149  Analyze well production performance;

&#149  Be in charge of well production management guidelines;

&#149  Be in charge of production reallocation and production database regular update ;

&#149  Be in charge of well data acquisition program with the objective to know each well behaviour ;

&#149  Take part in well operations follow-up (drilling, data acquisition), ensure the quality and the reliability of the data acquired;

&#149  In charge of running dynamic reservoir model simulations to history match the past production and to predict the future productions;

&#149  Perform reservoir studies required for improving the understanding of the fields and for improving the reliability of the production predictions;

&#149  Take part in reserves estimation work and associated production profiles forecast;

&#149  Work in team with operations entities (drilling, completion, well intervention, well data acquisition…) ;

&#149  Take part in well preparation and follow-up during drilling operations;

&#149  Communicate with Geosciences and other departments

Skills:

&#149  Training and knowledge

&#149  Minimum = MSc in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent; IFP School

Expected level of experience:

&#149  Minimum of 7 years experience for senior engineer

&#149  2 years experience or sound internships in the oil industry, if a fresh graduate

Abilities

&#149  He/she must be able to work as part of a team and work

&#149  He/she must be able to synthesize, anticipate, adapt and propose practical solutions

&#149  Self-initiative is essential

&#149  Good oral and written communication skills
