Job Purpose

You will contribute to this by developing overall Quality capability and performance of the Western Africa business with strong focus on the end to end integrated supply chain from suppliers to the point of sales, and by acting as a custodian for the regional quality strategy and Mondelēz International Quality policies in the area.
Key Accountabilities
In line with the job purpose, key accountabilities will entail the following:
- Develop and deliver quality awareness and training programs in the area to engage all functions in achieving company quality goals and compliance to QCMS requirements.
- Implement Mondelēz International Quality policies and provide all needed technical support and know how to achieve full compliance of the local operation to the Mondelēz International Quality policies.
- Engage all local stakeholders in the implementation of the regional Quality strategy.
- Support quality risk assessment and execution of major CAPEX projects and changes in the region.
- Ensure Quality compliance of the end to end supply chain to Mondelēz International requirements
- Monitor quality performance of local business and lead Quality continuous improvement in the region
- Support quick resolution of major quality deviations to restore business continuity and keep consumers and customers happy.
- Lead local Quality community and identify future Quality talents in the area.
Person Specification
In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that the ideal candidate will have:
- Degree in Food technology, Science, Engineering
- Min 5 years in a similar role within an FMCG environment, including:
o Plant Quality Management or Lab Management
o Food Industry/Pharmacy/Chemical Industry
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
- Ability to interact at all levels and influence decisions
- Proactive, resourceful and self directed
- Ability to learn on the fly
- Ability manage ambiguity
- High attention to detail and analytical ability
- Results drive and an ability to prioritize
- Ability to speak the french language (advantage)
In addition to this, the candidate should display influential, accountable and adaptable behaviour and have high drive.
