Job Description
Job Purpose
To assist the Lead or Principal engineer in meeting project requirements and performing all technical duties in a highly competent and efficient manner. To be aware of and adhere to the Aker Solutions values, systems and processes including PEM, AKlMS, and MIPS.
Personal Specification
Qualifications
Educated to HNC/HND level in engineering discipline
Educated to degree level in engineering discipline
Chartered or Incorporated Engineer
Current Offshore Survival Certificate
Current Offshore Medical Certificate.
Specific Training / Specialist Skills/Personal traits
Sound working knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards
Conversant with appropriate technical software
Aware of latest technical developments
Ability to direct and guide engineers and designers
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Good team working skills
Pro-active attitude
