Summary 
 
The Business Intelligence manager is responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of critical business intelligence initiatives and projects that will contribute to strategic decision-making across the institution.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Consulting with management and relevant stakeholders to define goals.
  • Researching, developing and implementing data-gathering methods.
  • Analysing and synthesizing data.
  • Reporting back on your findings and suggesting solutions.
  • Collaborating with co-workers and management to implement improvements.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
  • Create reports for presentation to upper management
  • Leading the strategic design, delivery and maintenance of the business intelligence program that will support institutional priorities
  • Collaboratively and extensively investigating, analysing and interpreting business information needs based on a strong understanding of business processes, drivers and priorities
  • Providing high level conceptual and technical expertise and understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence best practice.
  • Experience in contemporary business intelligence tools and techniques

Personal Specification

Education and Experience 
 
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, statistics, business studies, or related field.
 
Job Requirements & Qualifications
  • Proven experience with programming for data analysis.
  • Firm understanding of statistics and databases.
  • Expert problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
