Digital Campaign Manager

Job Description

Summary
 
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Expert to develop, maintain and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels.
 
Main Responsibilities
 
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Design and produce marketing communications (print and digital) pieces for a wide variety of internal and external Africell clients
  • Collaborate with creative team at the Agency, internal teams to develop creative solutions and then translate those solutions through a variety of channels
  • Stay current on creative and digital industry trends
  • Meet with internal clients to determine the scope of a project
  • Advise clients on strategies to reach a particular audience
  • Determine the message the design should portray
  • Create images that identify a product or convey a message
  • Develop graphics and visual or audio images for product illustrations, logos, and websites
  • Create designs either by hand or using computer software packages
  • Select colors, images, text style, and layout
  • Present the design to clients
  • Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design
  • Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them

Qualifications
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Strong creative, organizational, problem solving and time-management skills
  • Adaptable and quick learner
  • Must be able to apply style guides creatively while upholding the Africell brand identity
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with HTML and motion graphics a plus
  • Possess strong conceptual skills, high level sense of design, layout and typography, a broad thinker who is able to offer a variety of design solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision
  • Analytical skills – must be able to look at their work from the point of view of the consumers and examine how the designs they develop will be perceived by the consumer to ensure they convey the client’s desired message
  • Artistic ability: must be able to create designs that are artistically interesting and appealing to clients and consumers – produce rough illustrations of design ideas, either by hand sketching or by using a computer program
  • Communication skills: must communicate with clients, customers, and other designers (for example at the Agency) to ensure that their designs accurately reflect the desired message and effectively express information
  • Computer skills: must be able to use specialized graphic design software to prepare designs as well as be an expert in PowerPoint and other graphic applications.
  • Creativity: must be able to think of new approaches to communicating ideas and then develop unique designs that convey a recognizable meaning on behalf of clients
  • Time-management skills: must be able to work on multiple projects at the same time, each with a different deadline
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate a proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and another Adobe Creative Suite Software
  • Photography experience or ability to edit and take photographs
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Pleasant & friendly attitude with a willingness to aid clients with various design needs
  • Ability to finish projects on schedule
  • Additional experience in either video, web programming, photography and publishing are necessary for the position
