We are looking for a Head of Marketing & Sales who will be responsible for leading all branding, marketing, and new business development for the company’s expansion. The ideal candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking abilities, and a proven track record in launching and scaling brands in the personal care or FMCG sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Brand Strategy
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies to position the brand competitively in West Africa.
- Oversee brand portfolio development, ensuring strong visibility and consumer appeal.
- Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to refine pricing, promotions, and positioning strategies.
- Ensure brand consistency and alignment with customer preferences across different regions.
Sales & Business Development
- Lead market penetration efforts in Nigeria and Benin, establishing a strong distribution network.
- Build and manage relationships with distributors, retailers, and e-commerce partners.
- Identify and capitalize on market gaps and sales opportunities.
- Optimize sales processes and channel strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Set and monitor KPIs to track performance and align with business objectives.
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales and marketing team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure the team meets and exceeds revenue and brand growth targets.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective strategies.
- Drive ROI optimization for marketing spend.
- Negotiate contracts and key partnerships to secure long-term growth.
