Job Purpose:
Responsible for Managing Recruitment and Selection for the Bank in ensuring will always recruit and attract competent and qualified staff to fill on vacant positions in line with strategic staffing plan.
Management of Head Count in the Bank and ensure compliance of Recruitment policy which will eventually ensure that recruitment is in line with Business plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of recruitments activities to ensure that they are in line with recruitment policy and Business plan in the Bank.
- Maintaining an up to date recruitment strategies and policies.
- Undertake periodic recruitment drives based on specific vacancy requests from management.
- Monitor and advise on Staff positions in the bank and provide monthly Head Count report to Management and Board of Directors.
- Preparing NMB the annual corporate recruitment plan including budget preparation in consultation with heads of department.
- Monitor and ensure that budgetary levels for recruitment and selection are not exceeded and report on any trends of overruns.
- Responsible for authentication of claims for recruitment and approving within specified limits.
- Study the domestic labor market and inform timely management on labor trends in the banking sector and how they affect our recruitment strategies.
- Building relationships with Higher learning institutions for future potential employees of the bank.

- Holder of a First Degree or Master’s degree in Social Science or Business Management and/or a degree in related fields.
- At least 5 years of working experience in Human Resources posts.
