Area Production Manager

Job Description

The Area Production Manager reports to the Manufacturing Manager and is responsible for fulfilling the production plans to the highest quality standards at optimal cost in and save and healthy environment while minimizing environmental impact. With a motivated, engaged and developed team the Area Production Manager will drive continuous improvement of processes, productivity and efficiency in the area of responsibility making full use of the manufacturing excellence tools provided. Strong performance management routines are put in place and followed ensuring relevant KBIs are delivered and improved in a sustainable manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Planning Effectiveness, Production Accuracy
  • Maintenance Execution as planned and optimizes Manpower utilization.
  • Responsible for developing Operational Procedures (Start-up , Shutdown and Routine).
  • Actively participates and ensures the implementation of various infrastructure or process optimization projects in Production.
  • Actively participates and supports new line installations.
  • Ensures adherence to Food and Beverage Legislation, TCCC Standards, ISO certification, Good Manufacturing Practices and other internal and external regulatory compliance.
  • Maintains effective systems to ensure CC Hellenic/TCCC products and package quality.
  • Ensures all production personnel meet the requirements of Good Housekeeping and Good Manufacturing practices.
  • Is fully aware and Responsible for execution of IMCR / Non-conformance management routines and procedures.
  • Effectively applies business performance review on daily, Weekly and monthly management routine using all available tools – i.e. Management routine and input from SAP
  • Be a key part of Engineering Meeting (pre / post Maintenance Meeting)”             
  • Responsible for productivity improvement and stretchy targets for cost efficiency.
  • Runs SMED workshops and regularly reviews CO for improvement opportunities.
  • Drives Team Maintenance implementation.
  • Responsible for delivery of all KBIs in Production.
  • Runs SAP reports daily and evaluates effectiveness of corrective actions using all available data.
  • Attends daily production & planning meetings, establishes, monitors and reinforces control on Production.
  • Prepares, presents and interprets Production KBI’s (SLE, OPL, EPL, WUR, EUR, Material Yields).
  • Identify and champion cost benefit projects which result in increased productivity and efficiency.
  • Improves customer satisfaction while following production plans i.e. Run Kaizens on re-occurring consumer complaints.
  • Achievement of business targets by optimal use of labour and materials.
  • Review weekly cost trending vs approved budget.
  • Ensures production of products with high quality .
  • Ensure all Health, Safety & Environment policies and procedures are in place in Production and followed.
  • Implements and provides disciplined monitoring and reporting regarding the implementation of labour legislation, certification standards, CC Hellenic/TCCC CSR Practices and international agreements.
  • Builds production teams’ capabilities through implementation of training and development programs.
  • Participates in the selection and recruitment process for department (area).

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4-5 years working experience in the field of Production Management, Quality Assurance or Maintenance in Food or Beverage Industry.
  • Experience in people management.
  •  Knowledge of a bottling organization: Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Environment,  Engineering, Health and Safety.
  • Delegation skills.
  • Full Knowledge of SC strategy.
