Job Description

Reports to Regional Marketing Director/Managing Director
Job Purpose
Develop and drive the overall brand strategy by creating and applying Regional/local marketing initiatives to deliver the right balance of organic growth, brand expansion and diversification, supported by the appropriate resources and information networks to deliver agreed profitability
Significant  Relationships (Internal & external)
Marketing team (Group, Regional, End-Markets) Cross-functional teams from Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, HRAdvertising agencies & Service providersOther CBU stream team’s
Key Accountabilities
Create and ensure the implementation of 5-year category portfolio and brand strategy in the CBU, ensuring it fits with Regional and Global expectations to grow brands, market share volume and value and profitabilityDrive the NPD process and ensure pipeline initiatives to deliver 5-year created futureDelivery of overall budgeted profitability by growing and sustaining end-market Category and Brand performanceApprove and monitor category M&C spend based on ROI/Strategy planExplore & exploit new opportunities for the Brands in the CBUDefine consumer and category research strategy and objectives and oversee its implementationSelect and partner with agencies to deliver category communication agenda (including digital media)Develop and implement category pricing strategy to deliver agreed category and brand objectives Monitor, control & report Category and Brand Performance through brand health indicators such as NNS, GM, MC & key consumer KPI’s providing solutions to shortfalls;  ensuring measures are relevant and develop appropriate resources/solutions if requiredEnsure the consumer is central to all strategy and decisions, including influencing other functionsCoaching, managing, developing, building and sourcing category/marketing/brand managers.Participate in and influence key business teams (non-brand projects), CBU leadership teams.Foster positive external relationships with key industry influencers/media

Qualification , Experience & Competencies
Qualifications ExperienceBachelor Degree Over 10 years demonstrated experience in Brand ManagementProfessional Qualification in Marketing is essentialPost graduate degree is desirableIT savvy including the use of MS Office Suite of Applications
