Job Description

Key job accountabilities

To act as the ‘Economic Conscience’ of the Business Unit and guarantee its financial results.

A Business Unit should be considered as an entity with a P&L responsibility: global brand, Division in a country,

plant …

• Manage the plan, budget and trends: quantify major objectives, analyze and elaborate solutions with the

Management Committee, make proposals to the General Management

• Draw out the relevant KPIs in order to advise the General Management and propose corrective actions

• Control business and operating expenses within BU departments

• Seek for areas of savings and productivity and make proposals to the Management Committee (systems and

structures optimization, costs analysis…)

• Manage the BU reporting, using the internal reporting system

• Ensure the respect of procedures and best practices of Internal Control

• Recruit, develop and manage his/her teams. Ensure development of expertise and know-how and support

organisation changes

• Control the elements of Working Capital Requirements; follow-up headcounts

• In a plant, validate industrial cost prices during the budget period and throughout the year

Technical & Professional competencies required

• Accounting/Controlling

• Management Software (SAP Business, ISIS…)

• Fluency in French and/or English

• Knowledge of the Division business model and of the BU strategy

• Ease with key figures analysis and sensitivity to risk management

• Affaire Controlling – CG4

• Transition to Team Management (TTM)

(*) Depending on whether the BU Controlling works within an affaire or in a plant environment
