Location: Cote d’ivoire Abidjan

Role Description:

 

Taking responsibility for representing company’s products in the allocated countries

Develop effective network for company’s products within the region

Taking responsibility for defining and driving the Marketing & Sales strategy as well as key account strategy based upon market requirements

Taking responsibility for setting up the distributor base of company’s products in the allocated countries

Maximizing the value (top and bottom line) of the short & long term business in the regions for company through driving profitable high growth opportunities as well as continuously introducing company  spearhead products to the customer base (LED, luminaires, controls)

Secure close cooperation with all Marketing and Sales colleagues and involve them when needed

Managing the entire buying center and all relevant stakeholders of the local distribution partners (e.g. Specifiers, Consultants, installers, end-users)

Expanding the representation of company within the West African countries

Increasing market share and brand awareness within the allocated countries

 

Task and responsibilities:

 

To develop and maintain long term relationships with the distribution partners and customers in the countries

Coordinate with local partners and ensure conducting a detailed market study in the focused countries to identify the business potentials

Determine the exact market potentials

Conduct a comprehensive competitor Study

Identify country main investors and developers

To define and execute the distribution and channel strategy (way to market)

To develop the overall lighting strategy including Marketing & Sales plans, Key Account plans in the allocated countries

To meet budgets and agreed targets

To build the company’s brand in the allocated countries

To give technical and commercial training to the distribution partners and their customers

To constantly improving business performance and customer satisfaction, based on gathered market/customer insights

Assist in the securing payment term for all export customers

Responsible for the collection of payments from the clients as per the agreed payment terms

Secure DDP compliance of partners

Willingness to travel

Personal Background (required):

Commercial knowledge of business and buying processes in Francophone countries in West and Central Africa

Networker and effective communicator at wide range of levels

Strong influencing and negotiation skills

Marketing experiences

Sales experiences with trade and project business

Commercial talent with solid technical and product knowledge

Bachelor or Master Diploma

French speaker a must

Preferably, a lady

Experience working in a start-up environment will be a plus
