Job Description

PRINCIPAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 NDT Inspection using Ultrasonics/Radiography/Magnetic Particle/Liquid Dye Penetrant/ Eddy Current Techniques based on client / site requirements.

Prepare and present inspection report.

Perform any other task as directed by the client.

General

Assist with any other duties as and when required.

Undertake specific projects as instructed by management.

 Safety

Ensure that safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to in order to ensure a safe working environment

Actively participate in safety meetings, and tool box talks as required by client.

Ensure that Radiation Safety procedures are adhered to at all times, and that required documentation is kept updated.

Other

Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.

Perform assigned tasks with due diligence.

Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING:

PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT – RT – Level 2 – Radiographic Testing  (Essential)

PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT – UT – Level 2 – Ultrasonic Testing  (Essential)

PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT – ET – Level 2 – Eddy Current Testing (Preferred)

PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT – MT – Level 2 – Magnetic Particle Testing (Preferred)

PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT – PT – Level 2 – Dye/ Liquid Penetrant Testing (Preferred)

PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT – VT – Level 2 – Visual Testing (Preferred)

Third Party ASNT certificate holders will be required to undergo Oceaneering Certification, and successful completion is a mandatory requirement to acquire this position.

EXPERIENCE:

WORK

Minimum 2 – 3 years experience in NDT Inspection in Oil and Gas Industry.

Good command of English language (Essential)

Experience in corrosion monitoring/ mapping (Essential)

Experience in inspection jobs in pipelines, offshore platforms, FPSOs, Barges, Construction, Tanks, refineries, etc (Preferred)

SOFTWARE

Good computer skills  (Essential)
