Accountabilities:
Proactively support the delivery of HR processes.
- Participate in recruitment processes to ensure the right people are hired at the right cost
- Discuss the necessity and urgency behind recruitment with HOD’s
- Coordinate internal staffing and moves
- Secure the Performance Management process in the business areas, supporting objective setting, advising managers, monitoring the process progress, challenging performance ratings; ensuring quality feedback and bell curves are applied
Support managers in area of people development
- Identify training needs and approve training requests in coordination with Training and Development Officer
- Establish priorities and identify candidates to train in cooperation with HOD’s
- Discuss the Management Review Process with Directors to map talent needs, identify potential, and define development needs / actions to close talent gaps; support in succession planning process
- Participate in developing management succession plans
- Assist different individuals in developing their PDPs, advise and coach managers in career development and finetune development wishes before sending to POD
- Implement departmental career paths and competencies frameworks
- Implement leadership programs for senior management
Lead the change management
- Introduce, support and influence change management initiatives with HOD’s to enhance overall performance
- Support and advise the departments in developing and implementing their change and communications plans
- Ensure that relevant qualitative information is captured and actions are taken on the basis of the Climate Survey in cooperation with POD
- Assist in implementing departmental effectiveness and development projects
Provide support in organization change
- Advise and participate proactively in the optimal organizational design and coordinate change plan implementation
- Contribute in developing new job descriptions and provide required input for job grading in collaboration with the Comp & Ben manager
Employee relations
- Provide input for review of HR policies and procedures and contribute to their implementation after review
- Councel and handle employee grievance and ensure proper communication
- Manage disciplinary processes to ensure consistency and fairness
- Run HR workshops to provide line managers with information on latest employment law changes and how these will impact their management responsibilities and existing policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor or master degree in HRM, Management, Social sciences
- 5 years in HR management
- 2 years in managing people
- Good in English and French
