DIMENSIONS DU POSTE
Responsable de la Synthèse au sein du département Exploration de Total EP Congo
Rédaction des documents de synthèse (rapports et notes techniques) sur les différents pôles d’intérêt identifiés par le Chef
Exploration (2 à 5 documents par an)
Préparation de documents pour 1 à 2 Comités Exploration par an
Présentation des principaux résultats aux différents workshops techniques et réunions internes
Responsable du suivi du Domaine Minier congolais et à partir de ses résultats de synthèses, chargé d’identifier, en coordination avec GSR/Projets Nouveaux au siège, des opportunités domaniales
Domaines d’expertise : synthèse régionale, projets nouveaux, évaluation pétrolière
ACTIVITES
Réaliser des études de synthèse sur le domaine minier Congolais à la demande du Chef Exploration (50%)
• Évaluer le domaine minier disponible et proposer des farm-ins et acquisition de permis libres (10%)
• Rechercher de nouveaux thèmes d’Exploration et concevoir de nouvelles méthodes d’évaluation (10%)
• Participer à l’analyse, l’interprétation synthétique des données géologiques des prospects en exploration (10%)
• Participer à la préparation des comités exploration, comités techniques et workshops avec des partenaires (10%)
• Assurer la pérennité des informations acquises (rapports, data management) (5%)
• Encadrer des jeunes géologues (5%)
Réunions (participation) : Comité Exploration ; Comités Techniques ; Séminaire PN ; Séminaire CAE Évaluation des Bassins
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT :
• Travail de synthèse transverse – interface avec autres entités GSR, TEP Congo, Siège et autres filiales du Bas Congo
• La masse des données disponible exige une esprit synthétique, organisé et discriminant
• Besoin de mettre en cause des idées reçues à propos du potentiel pétrolifère de l’intégralité du domaine minier congolais
• Présentations convaincantes aux workshops, comités techniques, comités exploration
FINALITES
• Consolidation et amélioration des connaissances de la géologie régionale au Congo
• Augmentation du POTEX de la filiale
• Étendre le domaine minier (de qualité) de Total EP Congo
PROFIL REQUIS
• Séniorité : Géologue senior (10 à 15 ans)
• Expérience professionnelle : Explorateur expérimenté, bonnes connaissances en synthèse et en Projets Nouveaux
• Formation : Masters Petroleum Geology ou ingénieur ENSPM ou Doctorat

Job description
This is a Trainee role for bright and well driven young Geologists who are willing to work in field locations. The job environment is in offshore or onshore field locations, with periodic rotations (fortnightly or monthly).
The successful candidates will be expected to:
• Guarantee pertinence, reliability and quality of data and geological measurements acquired while drilling
• Define, propose, set-up and supervise well data acquisition programmes in compliance with safety requirements in the fields of drilling and geology, while optimizing costs and quality
• Contribute to the safety of operations through real-time detection of geological and downhole conditions that could have an adverse effect on drilling
• Select and supervise contracted services
• Contribute to the estimation of the Group’s OHIP by conducting geological and petrophysical interpretations and syntheses
• Gather and Interpret geological data at the Wellsite
Required skills
Education:
The ideal applicants should be results oriented self starters who possess:
• At least a Bachelors Degree in Geology from a reputable higher institution.
• At least a second class upper grade.
Expected level of experience:
Applicants are expected to have:
• Completed one year of NYSC
• Minimal experience (preferably less than one year) in Geology or Operations Geology
