Key Responsibilities
• Reports to the Project Control Manager
• Reports to the Project Planner
• Assist Project Planner
• Responsible for plan development, progress development as well as reporting accordingly and reports to the Project Control Manager.
• Break down the project into activities.
• Review contract documentation and draw up the activities logic diagram with the approval of the various participants.
• Establish the general execution schedule.
• Prepare the short term schedules (Six weeks look ahead, procurement schedule, mobilization schedule etc..
• Where required, ensure individual work packages are compiled in accordance with the work breakdown structure defined.
• Periodically gather the information relative to the progress of each activity.
• Prepare progress reports in accordance with applicable requirements and generate any additional / specific reports as requested / required.
• Identify and assess deviations from plan, scope change / growth and any other relevant factors that may arise and advise assigned project personnel accordingly.
• Analyse trends and identify areas of concern / opportunities for improvement and address accordingly.
Desired Skills and Experience
• Bachelors degree
• Be computer literate (Microsoft Office).
• Must speak fluent Portuguese and English. French language desirable.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
