REGIONAL HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

based in Kampala, Uganda

The mission will include but will not be limited to the below:

 –  Identifying recruiting needs in agreement with the Branch managers and Regional Manager

–  Setting up of hiring’s strategy

–  Writing of job description and publication of job vacancies

–  Managing applications

–  Organizing and conducting job interviews with candidates

–  Checking the candidates references

–  Setting up employment contracts

–  Managing HR administration files

–  In charge of onboarding process and follow up with integration of new employees

–  Monitoring and updating the company processes and ensuring compliance with local law and regulations

–  Insuring processes are followed up and informing incoming employees of such process

–  Mobilizing professional networks when appropriate

–  Relationship with schools and universities to identify young talents

–  Development of training plans

–  Relationship with various official bodies

–  Monitoring of social obligations for each employee (affiliated social organizations, medical, Labour, …)

–  Respond to requests for various employees (paid holidays, medical insurance, etc.)

 

The profile:

–  At least 5 years of proven experience as an HR Operations/Generalist Manager,

–  Preferred acquired experience in the public works or construction sector,

–  Preferred experience of work in an multicultural environment,

–  Master Degree in HR is required,

–  Fluency in speaking and writing English is required,

–  Fluency in French is a plus,

–  Excellent organizational and detail oriented skills,

–  Team player with excellent communication skills,

–  Great adaptation abilities and willing to work on virtual teams,

–  Willing to travel frequently within region including on remote site, and to Paris headquarters.
