JOB DESCRIPTION
Fabrimetal is a privately-owned company located in Luanda, Angola. Formed in 2006, Fabrimetal is the leading manufacturer of FM TMT® rebars high-quality thermo mechanically-treated steel reinforcement bars used to construct residential, commercial, industrial, and civil structures.
The leadership team at Fabrimetal is currently looking to recruit a Sales and Marketing Manager, focused on further developing the market share of Fabrimetal products across Angola. As the team leader for the sales and marketing organization, this role will work directly with senior management by managing the sales lifecycle, customer relationships and brand and marketing activities for Fabrimetal.
Fabrimetal offices are based in Viana, Angola 25 km outside of the capital city of Luanda.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform sales activities on client accounts in both the formal and informal markets and negotiate sales in consultation with the Managing Director
- Manage client relationships and ensure clear understanding of customer requirements
- Collaborate with the management team to develop sales strategies to improve market share for all products
- Define market size, competitor’s share and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses
- Formulate, and refine existing, all sales policies, practices and procedures
- Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams
- Develop reporting procedures, including relevant KPIs related to the sales and marketing function
- Manage and develop sales and sales support staff
- Collaborate with management team to establish strategy and implementation plans for sales promotion, marketing and brand related activities
- Reports directly to the Managing Director of Fabrimetal
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Marketing/Management or related field
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience and/or training (Manufacturing, Steel, Construction)
- Must speak fluent Portuguese and English
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information
- Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team
- Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies
- Experience working with senior level clients
- Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office solutions
- Willingness to travel within Angola
- Resilience and flexibility and a self starter attitude.
