Sales Representative Angola

Our client is a leading pharmaceutical company expanding business in Angola. They are looking for a Sales Representative to join their team in Luanda.

The purpose of this role is to promote this leading pharma brand and its products to healthcare professionals in the assigned territory (Physicians, Pharmacists)  in order to provide access to treatment for the appropriate patients

Job Responsibilities

  •  Call on all healthcare professionals  in region as directed by country manager
  •  Initiate and develop relationships with physicians, hospital stakeholders, pharmacy owners, pharmacists
  •  Must identify key opportunities to improve support  of brands and formulate strategies to deliver return
  •  Obtain information on dynamics of market and share with rest of team to evaluate success of strategies
  •  Identify and report risk factors affecting dispensing companies’ product to avoid loss of revenue
  •  Compile competitor analysis
  •  Determine ease of access of product and factors influencing decision to ensure we maintain high brand loyalty
  •  Monitor stock movements regularly to ensure product always available to cater for demand
  •  Work closely with sales manager and product manager to strategize, implement and measure sales strategies
  •  Work with clients during their own promotional initiatives to capitalize on brand awareness
  •  Realize potential for opportunity by keeping in regular contact with team members
  •  Understand the call plan of team members to capitalize on their influences

Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Tertiary education essential
  • Degree in health sciences advantageous
  • Two years sales representative experience in the healthcare sector advantageous

Requirements

  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Must be a self starter and self motivated
  • Experience of CRM
  • Have sound knowledge of developments and regulatory affairs affecting healthcare
