Role Summary

A monthly report will be submitted by the Resident Service Engineer to the Employer. The report shall include as a minimum:
• Comments on the technical status of the units
• Risks to production and long-term plant health
• Recommendation for performance improvement
• Defects
• Relevant Operating history
• Anomalies (life impact scenarios)
• Spares recommendations

Essential Responsibilities

A report will be submitted subsequent to planned and unplanned outages. The submission dates for these reports will be three months after a General Overhaul and one month after a Mini General Overhaul, Interim Repair and unplanned outage. The report shall include as a minimum:
• Quality control issues and documentation
• Recommendation on refurbishments
• Planning issues
• Spares recommendations
• Life determining issues

Qualifications/Requirements

• Engineering Degree and 10 to 15 years experience – Steam Turbines
• NB: CV’s of candidates must be submitted to the Customer for review prior to appointment of the candidate
• Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in the role’s location
• Extensive Turbine experience on ABB/BBC Technology
