Overall Purpose of the Job
Responsible for the efficient and safe running of the subsea workshop in order to meet deadlines as outlined in the subsea maintenance schedule.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Actively participate in the maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management Systems in Angola. Actively encourage and promote safety consciousness and accountability during daily activity.
2. Working to support and deliver the Excellence in Operations initiative to continually exceed our customer’s expectations.
3. Ensure a safe working environment by leading on the implementation of Health and Safety policy, systems and procedures.
4. Convene with subsea maintenance planner daily for pre-job planning meetings and post job debriefs.
5. Issue prepared Job Work Packs to suitably qualified personnel.
6. Inspect test equipment prior to any pressure test, and verify equipment rating.
7. Receive completed Work Packs from technicians for sign-off and submit to the maintenance planner for close-out.
8. Ensure operational readiness of workshop equipment.
9. Establish and implement an effective housekeeping programme.
10. Maintain a visible and accessible notice board citing ongoing subsea jobs and personnel assigned to respective jobs.

Job Knowledge and Experience
• Minimum 5 years Completion Landing String technical background.
• Minimum 3 years management / supervisory experience.
• Formal technical qualification / technical high school certificate.
• Strong leadership characteristics and good interpersonal relationship skills.
• Proven ability to undertake complex work in a planned and systematic manner.
• Self-motivated, conscientious, diligent and process driven.
