QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Higher General Education Minimum 3 years relevant experience
Good English qualifications and IT knowledge.
Ability to work independent

Training & Development Manager or HR Manager depending on HUB setup.
AUTHORITY
The Training Co-ordinator has authority to execute all training of offshore personnel as per agreement with the Senior Vice President Operations and/or the Rig Manager.
RESPONSIBILITY / ACTIVITIES
The Training Co-ordinator shall see to that:
– The company’s personnel-policy is adhered to. – The existing procedures for training are adhered to. – The Training & Development Manager is informed about the activity. – Training matters are correctly handled, i.e. in accordance with the company’s policy, working regulations, valid tariff agreements, applicable regulations and laws.
The Training Co-ordinator’s main functions are:
– Prepare the necessary required training for all new employees Make sure that all employees are trained according to the training matrix Non-conformances to be flagged and logged in Star – See to that the period of probation is used to appraise the employee’s abilities and that an appraisement from a superior is available before the final employment is confirmed. – Actively participate in the evaluation of current candidates in connection with scholarship and training courses etc. – Control that all offshore employees always have valid certificates. – Organise all training activities, included ordering of tickets and hotels. – Have the daily contact with the Operator concerning training and competence of the personnel. – Control all incoming invoices connected to any training activity – Keep all training and competence information for each employee updated – Prepare weekly statistic & reports of training activity – Check and approve timesheets and travel expenses connected to training.
SPECIAL DUTIES
The Training Co-ordinator shall:
– Forward reports and lists of training / competence to authorities and clients when required. – Execute special duties directed by the Training & Development Manager – Participate with input to training Budgets and Tenders. – Participate in duty arrangement, if this is required. – Participate in the Company’s Emergency Organisation, and be in possession of the Next-of-Kin training course. – Work close together with the other training coordinator
