Job Description:
The Cable Network Quality Controller (QC) is responsible for the control of the quality the networks in all aspects including Construction (Network and MDU), Installations and Networks and Subscriber Maintenance. Initially the role will focus on Installation and subscriber maintenance quality control by ensuring that all Gpon/HFC Construction, maintenance, installations and field Support are to required standards and enforce company policies as per the Kenyacam construction and subscriber connection agreements.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure Customer satisfaction
- Ensure all created installation work orders and subscriber maintenance work orders are attended to by the contractor.
- Ensure timeslots appointment for installation and subscriber maintenance are achieved and met.
- Quality control checks by sampling subscriber maintainace and installation services offered by contractor and ensure standards are met
- If 10% or more (by price) of the services invoiced have not been executed by the standard required, the entire invoice is rejected and all issues fixed by the contractor before re-submitting the invoice.
- If more than 10% (by price) of the services invoiced have been executed and met the standard required, the contractor can invoice the 90% and ensure the 10% is fixed
- Get contractor weekly progress of subscriber installation and maintainace reports and establish damage to subscriber premises, equipment caused by lightning and KPLC surge.
- Ensure sufficient CPE has been procured documented and issued in good condition to the contractor in accordance to sales forecast. In case the CPE are confirmed to be damaged under custody of the contractor, the contractor is entitled to payment of the cost of the CPE replacement.
- Ensure that the recovery of CPE done by contractor is done as stipulated in subscriber connection agreement. This includes maintaining a separate store for recovered CPE
- Ensure number of personal with right skills are trained and effectively monitor and ensure management software (Wincable, Rami, CRM and Pastel) are being used effectively to generate, monitor and implement services offered by the contractor.
