Established in February 1978, ENSA began operations on 15 April of that year with the designation of National Insurance Company and Reinsurance of Angola. Since then, ENSA has accompanied the economic and social development of Angola, modernizing and multiplying their services and has expanded its network to over 20 agencies distributed throughout the Angolan territory.

Our corporate purpose is the production and marketing of insurance products and related services. Today, we market some 30 insurance products grouped by life and non life.

ENSA has about 540 employees, of which approximately 60% are men and 40% women. We provide our staff with technical and vocational training which, coupled with academic training, makes them competent to achieve the proposed results. Divided into different functional areas, they carry out their work with team spirit which is the result of the excellent personal relationship between themselves and the conditions offered to them by the company. The vast customer base we have covers the main public and private institutions, including companies in the areas of industrial, commercial and service sectors including oil, mining, construction, transport (air, sea and land), telecommunications, hospitality and tourism.
