Lead the formulation of the Bank’s strategic direction by collaborating with cross-functional teams, assessing evolving priorities, and analysing strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of the Bank’s long-term strategic plan and annual business plan for approval by Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
- Develop strategy and product papers aligned with the corporate strategic plan for approval by Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
- Continuously monitor internal and external events affecting the Bank, providing intellectual leadership for both short-term tactics and long-term vision.
- Offer professional input into the Bank’s annual business planning and budgeting process, translating strategic goals into actionable plans for efficient task allocation.
- Communicate approved long-term and annual business plans to all staff, establishing monitoring and reporting mechanisms for Senior Management and staff.
- Analyse and recommend enhancements to internal business processes, leveraging industry knowledge and management consulting skills.
- Participate in the preparation of the Bank’s Annual, Half Year, and End of Year reports.
- Establish and implement a customer feedback loop to ensure a customer-centric focus in the Bank’s lending activities.
- Collaborate with the Risk Management department to define the Bank’s annual risk appetite.
- Monitor and evaluate the implementation of strategic plans, identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by Senior Management.
