We spend billions in our search to develop new medicines, vaccines and innovative consumer products. We’re one of the few healthcare companies researching medicines and vaccines for the World Health Organisation’s three priority diseases- HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. In 2013 we distributed nearly 900 million vaccine doses to 170 countries, 80% of which were to developing countries.
We have a network of almost 90 manufacturing sites in 36 countries worldwide. Between them they produce four billion packs of medicine, nearly 900 million doses of vaccines and more than 18 billion packs of consumer healthcare products annually.
